We all have the potential to live a better and more authentic life – a life that reflects who we are, what we value, and what we want. At certain points, however, this can feel out of reach, or plain unattainable – be it because of inner struggles such as anxiety or depression, or outer struggles such as relationship difficulties or dealing with the current climate crisis. But it doesn’t have to be that way – we all have the ability to make a positive difference in our own lives, and consequently to our relationships, our communities, and the planet as a whole. Psychotherapy can provide a safe space to explore and begin to address the barriers and the issues that hold us back, so that we can live that better and more authentic life. It is a journey of healing and connecting to who we truly are, and it can be part of the bigger journey of becoming, connected to the whole. Trained in England, I integrate Depth Psychology with strengths-based as well as trauma-informed counselling approaches. I have been a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario since 2015, and am a member of Climate Psychology Alliance North America.
