I was born and grew up in Toronto. For over 35 years, as a Tutor, Teacher, Special Education Teacher, Vice-Principal, Principal, Superintendent of Education and University Instructor, I have engaged with thousands of children, youth, adults and families in support of mental, physical, emotional, social-emotional and spiritual well-being. I hold a Masters of Arts in Education, Bachelor of Education, Honours Bachelor of Arts in French, Italian and Commerce. I am a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals and the Ontario College of Teachers. I am committed to connecting with clients and families in a supportive, compassionate, respectful and caring ways. I am dedicated to continuing to support newcomers, individuals that identify as LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC, First Nation, Métis and Inuit. I am deeply committed to respectful relationships and honourng the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada Calls to Action by acknowledging the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual harms caused by residential schools in Canada. I have an empathetic nature, I listen attentively and I approach counselling in a sincere, solution-focused and caring manner.
