Lisa Romano-Dwyer BSc, MSW, PhD, RSW is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist in the beaches Toronto. She is a specialist in adult, youth, and child mental health, wellness, and education. Lisa’s Master of Social Work Degree was conferred in 1993, an undergraduate degree in Psychology in 1989 both at UofT and fully funded by academic scholarships including the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award for outstanding voluntary service. Lisa’s Doctoral Degree in Culture, Language and Learning. Conferred in 2013 confirmed the importance of relationship in meaningful change and academic engagement. Lisa’s research enhanced her clinical skills and practices. Lisa’s doctoral studies and research projects were funded by scholarship awards including the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship, and the Michael Smith Foreign Study Abroad Award.
