Writing Case Notes (virtual workshop)

Workshop Description

This workshop will explore the fundamentals of notetaking. It's an opportunity to practice and get feedback on your note-taking skills, in a facilitated, supportive environment. 

Take part in experiential exercises that will give you an increased ability to finetune your documentation skills. We invite you to bring your questions for an in-depth discussion.   

Learning objectives: 

  • Understand and engage in best practices for note-taking and documentation.
     
  • Evaluate your current documentation knowledge and identify areas for improvement.
     
  • Explore pre-existing models for note-taking and incorporate those standards into your own note taking style and individual preferences.

Marlee Rubel, RP, M.Ed is a Registered Psychotherapist offering clinical consultation, supervision, trainings, and program development to individuals, hospitals and various agencies within Toronto.  

She is the Clinical Director of Soft Landings Psychotherapy. Operating from a social justice oriented and trauma-informed lens, she specializes in complex trauma, queer experience, and couples’ therapy in her clinical practice. She approaches her work with warmth, humour, and an ongoing commitment to skilfulness and ease.
