Supervision is an essential part of an ethical practice, helping the supervisee grow as a professional and enhancing safe and effective use of self. But where does the supervisor go to help them grow and engage in safe and effective use of self?

OAMHP’s Peer Supervision for Supervisors group invites you to bring a specific problem or concern you are experiencing as a clinical supervisor to share with the group and receive feedback and support from the group in a safe, facilitated session.  

This group is facilitated by experienced, Ontario Validated Clinical Supervisors, whose role is to ensure that all participants have the chance to speak and that the conversation is respectful and constructive. 

As a past participant said, “I most liked the combined expertise and opinions of all involved, and I also liked, appreciated, and valued the facilitator’s leadership.”

There are six sessions, and you can register for one, some, or all of them! However, since registration is limited, please only register for the sessions you will be attending.

By participating in a Peer Supervision for Supervisor session, you will:

• Connect with other supervisors
• Get support by sharing items of concern in your supervisory practice and receive feedback
• Gain skills by providing feedback to other supervisors on their items of concern

Due to the sensitive nature of peer supervision, these sessions will not be recorded.

Registration for each session will close the day before the session at noon.
