About

I graduated with a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto - OISE in 2019. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with CRPO. I also have active membership with the OAMHP and hold Professional Liability Insurance coverage through McFarlan Rowlands. I have proficient skills in psychotherapy, counselling, crisis intervention, problem-solving, and conducting risk assessments. I am adept in using empathy, validation, active listening, and genuine compassion to develop a strong, collaborative therapeutic rapport with my clients. I have over 4 years of experience providing person-centered psychotherapy to a diverse population of adults in Ontario with a range of presenting issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, work and relationship issues, etc. My psychotherapeutic approaches are anti-oppressive, anti-racist, strengths-focused, culturally-attuned, and person-centered. I utilize tools and strategies from mainly third-wave psychotherapies such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness, dialectical behaviour therapy, acceptance-commitment therapy, and solution-focused therapies.
