As a licensed psychotherapist with the CRPO and OAMHP, Vanessa is skilled in CBT, Mindfulness, Solution-focused therapy, anger management, and developing healthy coping strategies for depression and anxiety. Additionally, she provides strong emotional support and goal-setting services to help her clients of diverse age ranges and cultural backgrounds achieve their best possible selves. She provides a caring and safe environment in which you can identify and explore issues that may be getting in the way of living a more fulfilling life and more satisfying relationships. In addition, she is experienced in working with members of groups that have been historically disadvantaged and marginalized, including First Nations, Metis and Inuit peoples, Indigenous peoples of North America, racialized persons, persons with disabilities, and those who identify as women and/or 2SLGBTQ+. In terms of therapeutic approaches, Vanessa works with an eclectic approach as she draws from many therapeutic modalities to suit your personal needs in her treatment. Her therapeutic approach is based on humanistic and feminist therapy. Her overall goal is to provide you with the insights and tools you need.
