About

A registered member of the CRPO, Tara brings a wealth of experience from her years in general practice working with individuals and couples. She now specializes in trauma therapy using a combination of EMDR, focusing-oriented therapy, mindfulness, and sandtray therapy. Her focus is on clients who suspect or recognize that their current struggles may be rooted in unresolved events, traumas, or limiting beliefs inherited from their past. This can manifest in different ways, such as past memories or trauma continuing to resurface, being easily irritated, overwhelming shame or guilt, fears, insecurities, and unhealthy or codependent relationships. She also provides integrated marriage intensive therapy through Focus on the Family Canada's Hope Restored Program
