I became a counsellor because I know how much counselling can help. I know how much it has helped me. And I know how much it has helped my clients. This is a second career for me. My previous career filled me with unhappiness and dissatisfaction, which came to poison the other aspects of my life. Soon I found myself in a very dark place. Counselling helped me get out of that place and heal. It helped me understand and accept myself. It helped me discover what was really important. I have been in the darkness and I know how hopeless it can seem - but I know that there’s a way out. That no matter how dark it seems, there is hope. For everyone. Always. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) licensed by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I graduated from Yorkville University with a MA in Counselling Psychology, and hold a BSc in Biology from the University of Waterloo.
