Maryam is a Registered Psychotherapist and a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as well as with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). She completed her Master of Arts Counselling Psychology Degree with an internship specialization in trauma and rehabilitation psychotherapy. She currently operates a private practice, where she provides psychotherapy to adults. The focus of her practice is on, but not limited to, addressing trauma, depression, and anxiety. Maryam has been conducting psychological assessments in personal injury cases and medical legal cases in collaboration with a registered psychologist. She has over 10 years of experience conducting assessment and providing treatment to individuals dealing with Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) injuries. In addition, she provides trauma focused treatments to members of Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC). She also provides clinical supervision to Registered Psychotherapists under the “Qualifying” category with CRPO. She is an EMDR trained therapist.
