Mary is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University in Humanistic Studies and a Master of Arts degree from Yorkville University in Counselling and Psychology. In addition to this, she has a Human Resources Management certificate from York University and holds the designation of Certified Human Resources Leader within the Human Resources Professionals Association. As a psychotherapist, Mary has worked with individuals and couples on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, bereavement, coping with ADD/ADHD diagnosis, relationship dysfunction, low self- esteem and emotional dysregulation. Her initial career in banking gave her expert knowledge in understanding financial matters and the impact they can have on couples and families. With ten years working as a Human Resources manager, she became highly familiar with the challenges that occur in workplaces. She has considerable experience with identifying and resolving interpersonal conflict, communication differences, work-life balance concerns and exploring career development.
