Lorena Patrucco is the Director and Registered Psychotherapist at Harmony Counselling Services. Lorena has more than 20 years of experience working with children from infancy (infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age) to adolescents in clinical and community-based settings, Hospitals, and Learning/Educational Centres. Over the years in the field, Lorena has helped and supported children and their families providing them with all the resources and programs necessary to achieve their goals. She has worked with children experiencing autism spectrum disorder, behaviour and social issues, learning disabilities, and anxiety, among others diversities. Lorena integrates a client-centered approach to counselling and she uses a variety of modalities including play therapy, CBT, Art therapy, DBT, Social thinking, Solution focused-therapy, Narrative approach among other interventions. She also has experience working with youth in the LGBTQ+ community, including youth who are gender transitioning. Lorena is truly passionate to help others and she does it incorporating a variety of clinical techniques to suit the needs of her clients. Lorena is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario.
