I have extensive counselling experience working with a wide range of clients. I tend to navigate clients towards insightful yet practical reflections. I integrate techniques from a variety of counselling approaches and have experience supporting clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship issues (including abusive relationships), anger and addiction. I also have experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. I am respectful of my clients' religious and spiritual beliefs. When requested by clients, I am comfortable discussing spirituality during sessions, as well as providing faith-based counselling. I hold a master's degree in clinical counselling from Tyndale University, in Toronto. Between 2011 and 2016, I was registered as a Psychologist in Brazil with the Rio de Janeiro Regional College of Psychologists (CRP-RJ). I am currently a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and have been providing counselling in Guelph since 2018.
