Kristina has over 10 years of experience supporting families, children and youth in crisis. Kristina graduated with a Masters in Clinical Counselling and is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). Kristina's goal is to work within each individuals unique strengths in a person-centered framework to support in restored hope and empower positive change. Kristina has dedicated more than a decade in working with women and children who have experienced various forms of trauma including abuse, family and relationship conflict, and bullying. Kristina utilizes a combination of different therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Family Systems and Attachment Theory to guide her practice. Kristina has specialized training in Motivational Interviewing and facilitates therapy-based, art-inspired workshops for children and youth. Kristina continues to attend clinical training to enhance her therapeutic skills. Kristina practices from a holistic approach and believes in providing a safe space for clients.
