About

I am a RP (Qualifying) in the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I hold a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University and I am a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I work with first responders in both individual and group therapy and with other adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief. I strongly encourage preventative mental health care and have a keen interest in promoting positive self-esteem and self-compassion. I provide client-centred treatment to adults 19 years of age and older who are experiencing significant difficulties related to their emotional/psychological health or well-being. I work with clients to identify personal goals that will be used to promote self-growth and independence. The focus of therapy is on the development of coping strategies and a healthy mind-body connection.
