I'm Katharine De Santos, a Registered Psychotherapist with over 25 years of clinical experience in Canada and the United States, and the Founder and Clinic Director of Healthy Minds Psychotherapy in Toronto, serving clients in-person and virtually across Ontario and other Canadian provinces. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Western University, a Master's in Counselling from George Washington University, postgraduate training at Johns Hopkins University, and a Master's Certificate from Harvard Medical School in Global Mental Health: Trauma and Recovery. My work focuses on trauma and PTSD, complex trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, fertility and reproductive mental health, perinatal concerns, life transitions, burnout, and first responders and veterans. I integrate EMDR, DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and attachment-based approaches to support meaningful, lasting change. I currently serve as President of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).
