I started my career in Cultural Social Work in the Netherlands, providing debt assistance and psychosocial counseling. After that I assessed children with Psychiatric Disorders and Somatic disabilities and I worked in Foster Care and Child Protection Services. I completed my Basic Assessment and Diagnostics Skills (NOTE: I am not Licensed to provide Diagnoses) and I became a lecturer at the University of Amsterdam in Educational Sciences, specialty Forensic Child and Youth care and the NHL Universities for the Bachelor Social Work. During this period I started my own practice Loving Caring - Advice and Research in the Netherlands and started in 2017 my ongoing PhD program about parents' (traumatic) intrusive life events and child safety. Since December 2018 I opened the doors in Canada and provide Mental Care for adults, children, and teens.
