Jay provides trauma informed therapy within an anti-oppression framework. His approach to counselling is client centred, and acknowledges the various oppressive factors that often influence an individual’s mental health. He draws techniques from emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, and existential therapy based upon the client’s needs and preferences.
