About

I am a Counsellor and Expressive Arts Therapist. I am gentle, compassionate, patient and open. Counselling offers support so that you don’t have to navigate life challenges and questions on your own. It can help the process feel more secure, attainable and rooted in knowledge, theory and evidence-based practices. My role is to help guide you to find what works and what’s helpful. My counselling approach is informed by Expressive Arts Therapy, Internal Family Systems, sensorimotor approaches, the nervous system, attachment theory and trauma-informed therapies. I hold a diploma in Expressive Arts Therapy at the Create Institute, a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on community approaches to trauma and a Bachelor in Public Affairs and Policy Administration with a focus on conflict studies. I believe part of my responsibility in this work is continued exploration and ongoing training. I enjoy offering individual and group work. In addition to my individual practice, I have facilitated groups at YWCA Toronto’s Breakthrough program, Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, Toronto General Hospital, Ontario Corrections Institute and Sojourn House.
