Colleen, the same as her husband Omar Portillo, has graduated from the Diploma in Professional Counseling (DPC) program at Pacific Life Bible College (PLBC). She also has been ordained as a Minister with the Christian Ministers Association (CMA), holding an Associate Pastor status with ELIM Fellowship of Canada. Her counseling style is that of primarily Christian faith-based, drawing mostly from perspectives pertaining to Christian counseling (drawing upon Holy Spirit's guidance and the truth in God's Word). Additionally, Colleen has obtained a diploma in Massage Therapy from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH). She worked as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), now retired, and was self-employed, owning and managing her own practices, as well as working alongside colleagues in various other clinical settings for a total of 15 years.
