About

Regardless of the many challenges and anxieties life can bring, there are also endless opportunities for personal growth. My role as a registered psychotherapist is to guide you through the challenges, decrease the anxieties, and provide you with the tools, resources, strategies, and insight you need to make personal changes happen. My areas of focus are anxiety, depression, trauma, difficult life transitions and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (including loss). With these transitions individuals can experience feelings of depression, anxiety, fear, anger, guilt, decreased self-esteem, and difficulties with expressing themselves and communicating. I work from a client-centred approach to help you unpack your complicated life circumstances, and help you find new ways of coping, communicating, and moving forward. Some therapeutic techniques that I employ are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and EMDR Therapy.
