Born in the UK, at 8 years old I came with my family to live in Quebec near Monteal. After getting a BA from Concordia, then a Masters degree in Counselling from McGill in 1976, for my first 40 years in this field I was a couple, individual, family and group counsellor and facilitator. I worked in various Colleges, Agencies in Quebec and, since 1982, in Ontario. For 23 years I worked in a small private practice and full time in the Mental Health department of a community Hospital in Richmond Hill. I was there until 2009... when I "retired". Then in 2015 I joined the College of Registered Psychotherapists, functioning as a Registered Psychotherapist until July 31st, 2025. However as of August 1st, 2025 (at 77 and energetically young:) I have resigned from CRPO, resuming the roles of a Consultant, Coach, Facilitator and Counsellor.
