I am a Doctor of Education and a Certified Family Mediator. I have extensive academic and practical experience in the fields of education, child development, parenting and psychology. I am the founder of Skills for Living (SFL) – a counselling approach that focuses on teaching social, emotional and behavioural skills to parents, children, teens, adults and families. I am also an instructor at Ryerson University in the School of Early Childhood Studies. My expertise has been featured in such publications as Canadian Living and Today's Parent.
