My name is Anastasia Machan, and I am the founder of Second Nature Child, Youth & Family Counselling. My background in Psychology, Women's and Gender Studies and Early Childhood Education, as well as myexperience as a mother of a neurodiverse child, has hada profound effect on how I view mental health, ability,and well-being. My goal is to provide mental healthservices and support that honours an individual’s ability,gender identity, sexuality, class and race. I provide at-risk and exceptional children and youth with counselling and offer professional development opportunities to support families and educators. I strive to enhance teaching and parenting styles, integrating the latest educational and counselling strategies, that put families first. I currently lecture across Canada and the United States of America.
