Alison Doyle is a Registered Psychotherapist in private practice at The Counselling Place. She is passionate about helping clients experience greater emotional wellness by empowering positive change to lead happier, more fulfilling lives. In her practice, Alison offers individual counselling to children (age 3+), youth, families and adults for a broad range of issues including: anxiety, phobias, stress, trauma, anger, bullying, burnout, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, relationship challenges, life transitions, parenting, illness, workplace stress, career change, mid-life crisis, empty nest, divorce, retirement, and end of life. Her approach is client centred, integrating Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural techniques with other evidence-based interventions depending on the unique needs of her clients. Working collaboratively from a place of trust, respect and honesty, Alison provides support through life's transitions and challenges to help clients resolve issues and discover new possibilities.
