A Peer Circle is an interactive discussion focusing on gaining a better understanding of practice standards. As a group-based learning experience, peer circles bring mental health professionals together for a deep, collaborative exchange of knowledge to support complex decision-making within Ontario’s legal and regulatory framework.

This in-person, supportive learning event, led by trained facilitators, will give participants a chance to connect with other mental health professionals as you review CRPO practice standards related to two case studies.

• The Working with Minors case study explores consent issues when working with young children whose circumstances change during treatment.
• The Contingency Planning case study explores issues when naming a health information custodian (HIC) successor and establishing a contingency plan.

You can register for either the morning or afternoon session. Each session is the same and you can only attend one:
