Jungwon is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP), and the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC). Jungwon’s clinical training includes psychospiritual care placements at Michael Garron Hospital and Scarborough Health Network (SHN), where she has worked with patients in both mental health and palliative care units. She is currently completing an advanced placement at SHN as a psychospiritual care practitioner. Her academic background includes a Master of Divinity (Emory University, USA), a Master of Theological Studies (Trinity College, University of Toronto), and a Master of Psychospiritual Studies with a certificate of spiritual care and psychotherapy (Emmanuel College, University of Toronto). She has also completed specialized training in palliative care at Michael Garron Hospital.
