About

When you spend so much time trying to live up to expectations, it can be easy to lose sight of who you really are. You feel anxious, exhausted, and overwhelmed trying to be perfect. You want to feel confident showing up in the world as your authentic self. But, how can therapy help with that? In session, you can anticipate sharing your experiences and exploring your feelings and thoughts about these experiences. We will seek to identify the stories you believe about yourself, your relationships, and the world. By identifying personal strengths, you can begin to rewrite your life narratives so that you can move through the world with confidence and authenticity. My clients are typically ages 12 to 25 and addressing challenges related to anxiety, body image, eating disorders, gender and sexuality, social pressures, and perfectionism. I value creating a strong therapeutic relationship and adjusting my approach based on your needs. We might work well together if you love a pop culture reference, find humour in tough moments, and are eager to see change in your life. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
