After working in the IT industry with high-performing professionals for over 15 years, I have a deep understanding and appreciation for the challenges that many professionals are faced with on a daily basis. With my unique background and experience in this area, and now as a Registered Psychotherapist and a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, I focus on helping motivated professionals and students manage stress, burnout, anxiety, and depression. Helping clients improve their ability to navigate complex life decisions and manage stress to avoid burnout are key elements of my full-time practice. Working with families in transition is another area I have a special interest in. As a stepparent myself, I understand the unique and complex challenges associated with building a blended family and would be happy to discuss some of the research available in this area. Sometimes knowing what to expect can be very useful. Life can be very demanding and in my experience, having additional support can really make a difference.
