Maria Cordero, MA, RP (Qualifying), holds a Master’s degree in Community–Clinical Psychology and is certified in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy of Children. She has also completed the Fundamental Psychoanalytic Perspectives Program in Canada. Maria works with children and adults, supporting clients navigating anxiety, trauma, parenting challenges, and life transitions such as separation. She has extensive experience working from a psychoanalytic framework and values the depth and insight this approach can offer. At the same time, she practices from an integrative and holistic perspective, incorporating evidence-informed modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), strength-based approaches, and solution-focused therapy. Her work is tailored to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and therapeutic goals. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), she is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and work toward meaningful and sustainable change.
