REWRITING YOUR NARRATIVE is about working alongside you throughout the therapeutic process to replace the past problem-filled narrative with a rewritten version of strength and resilience. Within the ideals of rewriting your narrative, narrative = your personalized story, which is exclusive to you, your life, and your values. So, when you have decided to rewrite your story, do not think of it as erasing what makes you unique, as our past experiences help create who we are today. Rather, think of rewriting your story as a revised edition, keeping everything that represents you, the challenges you have faced, and everything you want to overcome to make your life more meaningful! At Rewriting Your Narrative, the process of seeing people as separate from their problem is a guiding influence in the work I am able to do here. This guide is largely due to my experiences in working within narrative therapy, where you (not the therapist) is the expert over your own life. I have been trained in and do practice several other forms of therapy depending on client needs. I am also a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
