Latchman P. Narain, founder and director of the Anger Management Centre, is of Guyanese parentage. He completed high school in Guyana and university training in Canada and the United States. He is an anger management specialist holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Bio-Chemistry and Masters degree in Counselling Psychology. He also has a Diploma in Cross Cultural Counselling from St. Johns University, New York City. His previous background includes working as a family therapist in Toronto, teaching and guidance counselling in New York city. Latchman has been practicing in the field of family counselling for the past twenty (20) years and has specialized mainly in the areas of anger management, partner assault, depression, anxiety and parent education since 2000. He has extensive experience in the practice of mindfulness and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) techniques.
