In our increasingly complex world, Carol believes that individuals, couples and families may need assistance navigating through difficult situations. She works collaboratively with people to identify and understand the thoughts and behaviours that may be contributing to their distress. With a warm and empathetic style, Carol encourages people to explore their underlying issues with a view to developing and implementing solutions. Her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, life transitions, bereavement, relationships and couples therapy. Carol has a special interest in working with care partners of people with chronic or terminal diseases to manage their self-care and prevent burnout. Carol earned a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology and holds a certificate from Ryerson University in Mental Health and Addiction. She is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and is a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).
