About

My style of psychotherapy is a warm, empathic, and less-structured approach that allows for treatment to be tailored based on the clients needs and personality. I believe strongly in creating a safe and understanding environment where clients feel comfortable being their messy, authentic, and wonderful selves. I work with individuals and couples who struggle with life changes, borderline personality disorder, depression, grief, trauma, and stress at work or school. As well, my experience includes working with chronic pain, and injury/accidents, and mood or anxiety disorders. I also see individuals going through life changes and those wishing to deepen their emotional insight. My professional interests for the future include further training in relational therapy and psychoanalysis. While I rely on a Psychodynamic and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy approach, my training includes Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Solution Focused Therapy. I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology, and have been in practice for approximately five-years. I am registered with CRPO & OAMHP.
