I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). I earned my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University. I have had the privilege of working with clients of all ages with a broad range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, anger, insomnia, abuse, suicidal ideation, self-harm, relationship issues and clients with borderline personality disorder. My experience also includes work with female survivors of domestic violence as well as with inmates in a correctional facility. I am a licensed teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) and I worked as an educator in the school system before entering the counselling field. I help clients navigate their challenges by drawing upon various therapeutic models such as mindfulness, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). I work from the belief that every person has the capacity for change, and that I can be a supportive resource to help facilitate that change.
