I began my own private practice in 2007, then founded Archways Centre for CBT in 2011. At that time I carefully selected a team of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) trained psychologists to join me in offering evidence-based practices for a range of problems. I have extensive training and practice in treating mood and anxiety disorders, and I am certified in CBT by the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT-ACTCC) and by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. I received her undergraduate training in the UK and USA (graduated 1995), and completed my graduate training in counselling psychology (graduated 1997) at the Adler School of Professional Psychology (Chicago/Toronto). I credit my strong foundation in CBT to the additional training and calibre of supervision I received through working at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (Toronto). I has developed a special interest in helping individuals with OCD and related disorders, and I am currently an active member of the International OCD Foundation and The TLC Foundation for Body-Focussed Repetitive Behaviours.
