Recap: The Human Side of Mental Health Practice: A Symposium Exploring Ethics, Presence, and Professional Identity
On September 18, 2025, more than 130 mental health professionals gathered in Toronto and online for a day of learning, reflection, and connection. This year’s Symposium brought together clinicians, students, and leaders from across Ontario for real conversations about what it means to show up in practice as both professionals and humans.
The day featured thought-provoking sessions on ethics, financial sustainability, supervision, and self-care, along with space to reconnect with peers and celebrate our community.
