Tony is a registered psychotherapist who provides therapy to adolescents, adults, couples and families. He has extensive experience working with individuals who have a wide range of concerns, including: depression, anxiety, school and work stress, trauma, grief, bereavement, life transitions, intergenerational and bicultural conflicts, caregiver stress, and couple and family relationship issues. He is fluent in English and speaks conversational Cantonese. Tony holds a master degree in counselling psychology from the University of Toronto. He also has advanced clinical training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Toronto Psychoanalytic Society. Treatment modalities used in his clinical practice include psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness training, and problem solving therapy. He has more than 20 years of experience in the counselling, psychotherapy, and mental health field, having worked for a family services agency, hospital, as well as private practice. Tony is a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals and registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
